Labor is both the foundation of life and the source of happiness. In order to make the beautiful campus cleaner and tidier, upon the arrival of the New Year, the Youth League Committee of Anqing Foreign Language School's Junior High Department of the west campus organized volunteers of Grade 7 to conduct a campus cleaning activity to welcome the New Year.
To be concrete, under the responsibility of the teachers, the volunteers of each class of Grade 7 swept and cleaned the sanitary dead angles such as doors and windows, escalators, doorways, stairways, publicity boards, table tennis tables and the ground. During the activity, the students feared neither dirt nor tiredness. Instead, they worked energetically and were quite busy! Therefore, the campus is cleaner and more beautiful with their hard work.
To conclude, through the volunteers' voluntary labor, we not only beautified the campus, but also celebrated the arrival of the New Year. What's more, the volunteers conducted practical actions to practice and profoundly understood the responsibility of a student volunteer and the glory of a worker, which has played a positive role in promoting the excellent volunteer spirit of ‘Service and Dedication’ in the meantime.
